January 19, 2022
St. Luke’s College – UnityPoint Health has been named the 12th best nursing school in Iowa according to RegisteredNursing.org. The list was compiled by analyzing current and historical pass rates.
“We’re thrilled to have been named the twelfth best nursing school in the state,” says St. Luke’s College President, Kendra Ericson, PhD, RN. “Iowa has a number of incredible nursing institutions, and to know that St. Luke’s College ranks in the top fifty percent is great news for those in Siouxland who are interested in majoring in making a difference.”
St. Luke’s College is the only health system-based college in Northwest Iowa. According to this ranking, St. Luke’s College has the highest pass rates in Siouxland.
Dr. Ericson continues, “Our students get hands on learning experience both in the classroom and at the bedside. We have small class sizes, which allow for more one-on-one attention from our qualified faculty. I believe these benefits play an integral role in nearly 92% of our students passing their final exams.”
St. Luke’s College educates health care professionals through bachelor’s degree completion programs in nursing (RN-BSN) and health sciences; associate degree programs in nursing, radiologic technology and respiratory care; certificate programs in medical laboratory science, phlebotomy and clinical pastoral education; and advanced specialty programs in CT, MRI, sonography and mammography.
