Cardiology Conference will celebrate 32 years of professional education
The 32nd Annual Cardiology Conference will be held for area health care professionals on Wednesday, October 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Sioux City Convention Center, with registration beginning at 8:00 a.m.
All physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, cardiology technicians and other health care professionals interested in cardiac care are encouraged to attend. A variety of topics will be discussed including women’s health and heart disease; primary care and management of the ICD and pacemaker patient; transcatheter mitral valve therapy (TVT); difficult end-of-life situations; and diagnosis and treatment of pediatric congenital heart disease.
Cost of the conference is $89 before October 4 and $99 per person after October 4, 2016. Continuing education credit will be awarded for CME, AAFP and Nursing.
