Sioux City employees receive prestigious recognition
Newly appointed UnityPoint Health CEO, Clay Holderman has implemented the UNITY Pin, a new recognition opportunity that acknowledges team members who go above and beyond to demonstrate our brand promise, "know how much you matter to this world," to everyone they encounter. It is given to those who are making a significant impact by living our mission, vision and values in all they do.
UnityPoint Health – Sioux City employees, Jane Arnold and Kevin Handke are the first in the region to receive this prestigious award.
“Jane and Kevin truly are exemplary employees and individuals,” says Leah Glasgo, UnityPoint Health – Sioux City interim President and CEO. “They both work incredibly hard and treat everyone with respect and kindness. We are so proud that they are the first in Sioux City to be recognized for this award.”
Each UNITY Pin is awarded to the recipient by Clay Holderman himself. Jane and Kevin received their pins during Mr. Holderman’s first visit to Sioux City this week as part of his meet and greet tour of the system. Brad Brody, UnityPoint Health Board Chair, was also present during the award presentation.
“I’m truly honored to receive this recognition,” says Arnold, Senior Vice President of Operations, UnityPoint Health – Sioux City. “I feel blessed to work for an organization that puts an effort into recognizing its employees for a job well done.”
Emergency Preparedness Specialist and STEMI Coordinator, Kevin Handke adds, “2020 was an especially challenging year, and every single one of our team members worked incredibly hard to show our patients and each other that they matter, so being chosen to receive this award is very humbling.”
