Cooking up camaraderie at St. Luke's for over two decades
by UnityPoint Health - Sioux City - September 6, 2016
Co-workers
say UnityPoint Health – St. Luke’s Cook, Terri Lamprecht, has been dishing up
more than just delicious food for the past 21 years. They say her hard work,
selfless nature, and constant desire to help others has added a lot of zest to
the kitchen. That’s why many of her co-workers teamed up to nominate her for
St. Luke’s Employee of the Month.
Lamprecht was
selected as the winner for September and was recognized at a surprise ceremony.
The tears running down her cheek and permanent smile during the ceremony were a
true testament to her excitement and appreciation.
“It is the
most awesome thing in the world to hear the people I work with everyday say I
am a good co-worker,” said Lamprecht.
Lamprecht’s Manager,
Nic Lucart, says it is very apparent that co-workers gravitate towards
Lamprecht.
“Terri has
always put others first and has been an awesome team player from day one. She
is passionate about her job and is very loyal to St. Luke’s and what we stand
for,” adds Lucart
Other team
members describe Lamprecht as hardworking, helpful, kind, dedicated and delightful.
As the St.
Luke’s Employee of the Month for September, Lamprecht received a special watch
from Greenberg’s Jewelers, her own
premium parking space, gift cards to the St.
Luke’s Glass Apple Gift Shop, The Parkview Café and a gift certificate to
be used at an area restaurant. She will also have the chance to be voted as St.
Luke’s Employee of the Year for 2016. That comes with a paid vacation.
