Professional Statement:
With over eight years of experience in orthopedics, I'm deeply passionate about my profession and dedication to serving patients across all populations. My expertise spans a wide array of orthopedic specialties, including robotic joint replacement, trauma surgery, sports medicine surgery and non-operative management of orthopedic conditions. I'm committed to helping patients regain their mobility and return to the activities they love. My goal is to provide comprehensive, personalized care that addresses each patient's unique needs and circumstances. I believe in a comprehensive approach to treatment, combining advanced surgical techniques with non-operative strategies to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Why did you become a provider?
I have a passion for helping others and making a difference in their lives. Seeing patients regain mobility and return to activities they love is incredibly rewarding and motivates me to continually improve my skills. My goal is to empower patients to live pain-free, fulfilling lives.
Why did you decide to join UPH?
I am excited to be part of an organization that embraces a team-based model of care. The opportunity to serve the community I grew up in, allows me to give back and make a positive impact on the lives of people close to home.
Describe your average patient:
I treat a wide range of patients, from young children with minor injuries or broken bones to older adults with arthritic or degenerative conditions, and everything in between.

Patients would likely describe me as compassionate and caring. They would say I genuinely listen to their concerns and work diligently to find solutions that best meet their individual needs. My approach is patient-centered, ensuring each person feels heard and understood. I strive to provide personalized care that addresses their unique symptoms and circumstances, helping them achieve the best possible outcomes.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my husband and two daughters who are active in sports. I coach a youth basketball team. I enjoy traveling and volunteering in my community, and I was born an Iowa Hawkeye fan.
