Sheli Christianson, PT

I knew I wanted to work in healthcare and help people. I had looked at becoming a medical doctor or a nurse.  I just wasn't sure either of those paths fit my desires to be really involved in someone's ongoing care.  When I was a junior in high school, my grandmother had a stroke. I was able to attend physical therapy with her and experience how impactful a PT can be to someone's life.  This experience helped me decide to become a physical therapist. I have been working in outpatient orthopedics for over 30 years. Since then, I have continued my education to expand my expertise in manual therapy (specializing in spinal alignment and soft tissue techniques); biomechanical evaluation and treatment of the hip. knee, foot, and ankle (specializing in orthotic and footwear prescription) and work related/ergonomic assessment and treatment.  I enjoy treating all orthopedic issues both nonsurgical and surgical.
