My goal as a nurse practitioner is to improve the health of my patients by meeting them where they are at and working together to find the best treatment plan for each patient. I also strive to help patients better understand their health and disease processes so  treatment and care plans make sense.

Why did you become a provider?
As a nurse, I wanted to take the next step in helping patients by becoming a provider.
 
Why did you decide to join UPH?
I have worked within UnityPoint Health since 2015 as a CNA and have decided to continue with UnityPoint as a nurse and now nurse practitioner.
 
Medical Specialties or Special Interests:
I have received certifications for rural and underserved populations, and I think that will benefit the patients I will serve in rural Iowa.

Most important thing to know about you:
Health care is always evolving, and I'll strive to continue to learn and research to better serve my patients.

A relationship with mutual respect and open communication between both parties.

I'm passionate about patient advocacy and the right to make your own medical decisions. My job is to give you all the tools you need to make health decisions that are best for you.
