Robert Jardine, MD

Dr. Robert Jardine is a general surgeon whose international background and rigorous training reflect a deep commitment to excellence and compassionate care. Born in the United Kingdom and raised in Barbados, he brings cultural sensitivity and a broad perspective to the care of his patients. After earning his medical degree, Dr. Jardine completed six years of intensive general surgery residency training in New York City. He then pursued advanced specialization, completing a fellowship in Advanced Gastrointestinal and Minimally Invasive Robotic Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. Now practicing at UnityPoint Health, Dr. Jardine combines technical expertise with genuine empathy. Dedicated to patient-centered care, he's excited to serve the patients of Iowa.
