Biography
I am bilingual mental health therapist dedicated to providing culturally responsive care, with a particular passion for working with the Latinx community. As a fluent Spanish speaker, I am honored to support individuals in both English and Spanish, recognizing the importance of language in expressing emotion, identity and connection.
I have a particular interest in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief, as well as those exploring ethnic and racial identity. I also have a strong interest in helping individuals build self-esteem and embrace body positivity, creating a space to challenge societal narratives and develop a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
What's the most important thing to know about you?
My approach is person-centered, grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own life. I am here to walk alongside you, offering support and guidance as you move toward healing.
Ideal provider/patient relationship:
I believe the ideal therapeutic relationship is built on mutual respect, collaboration, and authenticity. It is a space where you feel safe, heard, and valued; free to show up fully as you are, without fear of judgement.
What's most important for patients to know about your philosophy?
I bring both professional and lived experience to my work, which deepens my empathy and connection with those I serve. It is a privilege to be part of your journey, and I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that is affirming, inclusive, and empowering.
