BiographyAbout This Provider
“My goal is for people to have a healthy relationship with food. While the foods we choose are important to our health, I would like everyone to enjoy how and what they eat no matter what their needs and goals are.”
Michelle is dedicated to developing healthy diet plans that are individualized to each of her patients. She will never rely on a cookie cutter approach because each of her patients has different dietary preferences and needs. Michelle’s relationship with her patients is based on flexibility, honesty, and teamwork. She strives to be a coach, therapist, and cheerleader for her patients every step of the way.
Michelle chose to pursue this field because food is a major factor in peoples’ lives and overall health; and she believed it would be a good area to make a difference in peoples’ lives. Besides her interest in the science of nutrition and food, Michelle loves food. She wants to make sure that her patients find recipes they enjoy, try the farmers market, and learn how to make healthy foods in tasty ways.
During her free time, Michelle enjoys doing research for her patients by going to the farmers’ market, cooking new recipes and trying out new restaurants. She also enjoys outdoor activities such and camping, hiking and kayaking in the summer, and snowshoeing in the winter.
