About Megan Andresen, PT, ATP, CBIS

Biography

Professional Statement:

I earned my undergraduate degree from Mount Mercy College and my Master's in Physical Therapy from The University of Iowa in 2000. In 2022, I became a Certified Advanced Vestibular Physical Therapist through The University of Pittsburgh, which has enhanced my expertise in evaluating and treating vestibular and balance disorders. I am also passionate about working with patients with spinal cord injury, stroke, traumatic brain injury, concussion, amputation/prosthetics, and wheelchair evaluations. I truly enjoy working one-on-one with patients to personalize treatment plans that focus on the tasks and activities most meaningful to their daily lives. I grew up playing team sports and have coached my children for many years, which has shaped my appreciation for collaboration and teamwork. I work as part of a top-notch, team-based approach alongside occupational and speech therapy colleagues, ensuring that each individual feels at the center of their care. With access to advanced resources and state-of-the-art equipment, I strive to provide treatment that reflects the latest research-based practices.

What is the most important thing for people to know about you and your practice?

I have enjoyed working at St. Luke's for the past 23 years specializing in treatment of neurological disorders. We have an incredible interdisciplinary team that works together with the patient and family to maximize their personal goals.
