Biography
Dr. Acharya completed his medical school education at the Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in Bangalore, India. He continued his medical education with a residency at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana and fellowships at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, Utah and the LSU Health Sciences Center. He is board-certified in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Echocardiography. Dr. Acharya believes in advocating for his patients with cardiac needs and rhythm disturbances. Dr. Acharya's personal interests include skiing, traveling, the history of civilizations, and yoga.
