Lindsay Lannen, PT, DPT

Professional Statement:

I am a pediatric physical therapist that has a strong passion and desire to build relationships with families and kids while focusing on meeting our goals. I love working together with my patients and their families to treat the child as a whole being while addressing gross motor and developmental concerns. I am currently working towards completing my certification as a Pediatric Aquaticist and love getting patients in the pool! I also have a passion for increasing patients' independent mobility, progressing developmental milestones, brainstorming for improved accessibility and collaborating with all of the wonderful specialties we have on our team. Getting to be a part of your child's care team is the highlight of my day and I take pride in being their own personal cheerleader whenever I can! 

Why did you become a physical therapist?

I fell in love with PT when I was a patient myself. The connection and relationship I built with my therapist sealed the deal for me as to how I wanted to educate and help others. My love for pediatrics came from the wonderful rotations I had while completing my doctorate. I find development, function and accessibility all to be incredibly important pieces of the PT puzzle and pediatrics is the best way to put them all together while helping out kiddos and families in need! 

What is the most important thing for patients to know about your practice?

I will do anything and everything in my power to validate your feelings and concerns, go above and beyond for your children to meet their goals and build an amazing relationship while doing so. I love being a part of each kid's day and try my best to remember the small details and make sure each patient feels as special as they are.
