Professional Statement: 

I chose to be a physical therapist because I like helping people and I love the idea of exercise as medicine.  I enjoy working with a variety of patients in the hospital and outpatient settings with a wide array of diagnoses.  I strive to always listen carefully to my patients and provide compassionate care. It is rewarding to play a role in helping patients achieve their mobility goals and this motivates me to keep working to be the best possible therapist for my patients.  

Why did you decide to join UnityPoint Health?

I began my time at UnityPoint Health as a volunteer while I was in college. I loved the therapy team and the supportive environment. I knew it was a place that I wanted to work and was lucky to get a position when I graduated.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy being with my family and dogs. I like to spend time outside, run, and hike, as well as travel to new places.
