Why did you become a physician/provider? I became a physician because I have always found helping others to be extremely rewarding, and I recognize the importance of promoting good health within our community.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy? My medical philosophy is to provide comprehensive, equal and compassionate care to my patients and work as an effective member of the medical team.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about? I am most passionate about hospital inpatient care and enjoy higher acuity level of care. I also value strong communication with patients' primary care providers while I care for them in the hospital setting.
Why did you choose your specialty? I chose Internal Medicine because I enjoy human physiology, adult medicine and each of the different subspecialties within Internal Medicine.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? The qualities that describe the medical care I provide to my patients are honesty, patience, equality and compassion.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? While I am certainly driven by positive medical outcomes, I am even more motivated to return to work each day to create positive patient relationships and help contribute to the medical team and community.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice? Patients should know that I will always put my best foot forward to provide safe, effective and compassionate care.
Personal Interests Hiking, tennis, cooking and spending time with my family and friends.
