About Carly Hayen, MA, CF-SLP
Biography
Professional Statement:
I am a speech-language pathologist specializing in adult neurogenic communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. From an early age, I knew I wanted to help people and make a meaningful impact on their lives. Today, my passion is helping adults regain the skills they need to connect with others, maintain independence, and improve quality of life. I value being a lifelong learner and enjoy incorporating new techniques and evidence-based practices into therapy. I am certified in SPEAK OUT!® through the Parkinson’s Voice Project. My motivation for working in healthcare comes from a deep commitment to supporting patients and their families through recovery with compassion, creativity, and hope.
What is the most important thing for people to know about you and your practice?
The most important thing to know about me and my practice is that therapy is all about you. My role is to help adults rebuild and strengthen communication, thinking, and swallowing skills in ways that truly matter in everyday life—whether that’s chatting with loved ones, managing work tasks, or enjoying a meal safely. I believe therapy should feel supportive, practical, and hopeful, so we’ll focus on your personal goals and celebrate progress every step of the way.
