Biography
Why did you become a physician? I became a pediatrician because I love kids, and I think childhood is wildly important and precious!
Describe your medical philosophy: I work alongside families to provide patient-centered care and whole-family wellness. I am committed to having complete, open and honest conversations with families, so we can develop care plans that fit where each person is at individually. I also believe children have limitless potential, and I'm dedicated to protecting and developing that by both preventing disease and fostering health.
What topics you are passionate about? Car seat safety, lactation, mental health and disease prevention
What do you like to do in your free time? I spend most of my time with my family and my dog. I love to read, hike and play pickleball.
Describe your family: My husband and I were married in 2018, and we welcomed a daughter in 2025. We also have a sweet Australian Cattle Dog.
Notable ties to the region: I am originally from Cedar Rapids, so my entire extended family lives in the area.
