Biography
Dr. Kadakia completed her pediatric residency program at the University of Louisville Kentucky after completing her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in 2018 at the Western University of Health Sciences. She joins us from Sarasota, FL where she worked as a pediatrician, providing preventive care for newborns through 21 years of age. She specializes in allergy and asthma care, contraceptive care, acne management, eczema management, care of chronic issues/medically complex patients, ADHD management, and mental and emotional health conditions. Dr. Kadakia is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has received various awards throughout her career and education.
Dr. Kadakia’s decision to become a pediatrician didn’t surprise anyone that knew her. Teaching, advocating for, and serving children has always come naturally to her. Her passion for pediatrics stems from the fact that children always seem to bounce back. She feels her job is to ensure their physical, emotional, and spiritual health so that they may harness their own resilience and develop into the best versions of themselves. Dr. Kadakia strives to be an informed, dependable, flexible, and easily approachable physician. She believes these four traits build strong relationships with children, parents, and the community of Dubuque. Outside of work, she enjoys board games and movie nights. She is a Marvel and DC fan but can never say no to anything Disney. She enjoys experimenting with cooking and baking, but most importantly loves spending time with her family.
