Patient Ratings and Comments About Our Survey

The Patient Rating score is based on responses given during the CAHPS Patient Experience Survey. Responses are measured on a 10-point scale, with 10 being the best score. These scores are then translated to a 5-point scale in order to display results in a 5-star rating. Comments are also gathered from the same survey and displayed in their entirety with the exception of any language that may be considered slander, libel or contain private health information, which will be removed prior to publishing the comments.

I brought him in for coughing fits when he exercised, my paperwork said I brought him in for acute sore throat, but his throat has not been hurting at all. I'd never seen this nurse practitioner before though I've been using the practice for 6 years now, but she didn't listen to me overall. I can understand checking his throat for coughing, but she didn't address that problem well at all. It wasn't until I got home that I realized that she thought we were there for a sore throat. Also tried to tell me kids can't have honey until they are 12 years old. Every single thing I have read before or since says 1 year old. My kids are all older than that. I'd never seen her before, hope to avoid seeing her again, So I really can't judge how she coordinates care.UnityPoint Clinic Patient
