Register for the 2026 Child Passenger Safety Education Day!

May 15th, 2026 | 9:30 AM to 5 PM

Education Sessions

Join us for a full day of learning, collaboration, and hands‑on skill‑building at this year’s Child Passenger Safety Conference! The agenda is packed with timely updates, practical scenarios, and opportunities to deepen your CPS expertise.

We’ll kick off the morning with welcome remarks followed by education sessions that touch on topics like: NDCF check form, recertification, crash dynamics, unusual installation challenges, adaptive seating updates, and more. Afternoon sessions include interactive roundtables and hands‑on exhibits plus opportunities to connect directly with speakers and fellow technicians.

A simultaneous seat check event will run from 11:05 a.m. to 4:05 p.m., offering CPSTs the chance to complete car seat checks. Priority will be given to technicians without local instructor access or upcoming recert opportunities. An invitation to participate will be sent directly to those who qualify. Others may have the opportunity to play a mock caregiver or observe to build on their CPS communication skills.

Come spend the day learning, networking, refreshing your skills, and strengthening Iowa’s CPS community!
