Testimonials

"I attended the last Mid-Winter Medical Education Conference and came away both recharged and inspired. The setting in Hawaii created a unique environment that fostered meaningful learning and collaboration in a way that is difficult to replicate in our usual routines. The conference content was thoughtful, practical, and relevant to clinical practice, and the opportunity to connect with colleagues was truly exceptional. It offered an ideal balance of professional growth, quality time with family, and genuine enjoyment."

-Jenna Kemp, MD

"I had a wonderful time in Hawaii at the conference. It was a perfect balance of learning and relaxation and I came back energized with lots of ideas to incorporate into my practice. I also got to meet many other UnityPoint providers and build connections that would not have been possible without this conference."

-Jeremy Cordes, DO, PharmD

"This conference was a great experience both professionally and personally. I was exposed to many topics I would not normally see in a typical internal medicine conference. It was also wonderful to meet providers from different regions. Not only was it nice to be in-person but this was a great networking experience. There were a lot of leaders from different regions with opportunities to learn different management styles. A lot of friendships were made there that continue to this day. It goes without saying that being in Hawaii was a much-needed break from the everyday grind."

-Jonathon Senkler, DO

"I found the Hawaii conference to be an outstanding experience. A perfect mix of learning and relaxation. The location is incredible, really allowing us to relax and recharge! We hope to make this a priority in the future. As physicians, we need to take care of ourselves and each other. The Hawaii conference is a fantastic opportunity that UnityPoint provides, to collaborate with colleagues, while also taking the time so desperately needed to ensure our own wellness."

-Shawn Spooner, MD, FAAFP
