Lactation Support Group

No need to register! These free breastfeeding support groups are run by internationally board-certified lactation consultants. They can help with feeding positions and baby's latch, answer pumping questions, and do weighted feeds so you know how much baby is eating. Questions? Call Lactation Services at 515-541-6570.

The downtown group meets on Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to noon in Classroom 5 of the ERC on the Iowa Methodist Medical Center campus (not IN the hospital!) Alternately, you can park in the metered parking on Woodland Ave. and enter the ERC in the doors between the large pillars facing Woodland.
