Kids Garden Camp: June 9, 16 & 23
How to Construct a Self-Watering Garden
Kids registered for all three classes receive a 20-gallon tote to make into a self-watering garden, a garden tool and their own notebook to fill with garden tips. You will take your tote and notebook home on the last class day.
Each class includes light garden exercise, class instruction, hands-on garden building, food snack and garden games. Parents have the option to observe or collect their child by 11 a.m.
- For kids aged 8-12
- 3 sessions – Monday mornings 9-11 a.m., beginning June 9
- Cost: $25 per child includes all 3 classes
Class schedule
- June 9: Intro to gardening, getting started, early vegetables, watering and checking your own garden
- June 16: Mid-summer vegetables, garden tote management
- June 23: Late-garden vegetables, garden tote instructions for the summer
