About Us

Blood testing is available on a walk-in basis and does not require a doctor’s order. DOT and non-DOT urine drug screens, as well as breath alcohol testing, are available by appointment only. An exception is made for post-accident testing. To schedule an appointment or ask questions, call (641) 236-2373.

UnityPoint Health - Grinnell Regional Medical Center offers several blood tests to help you best monitor your health. We're here to make it convenient for you to stay on top of your key numbers for your best health.

  • Wellness screenings are available without an appointment.
  • Come to the hospital admitting area to request the screenings you need.
  • Cash, check or credit card payment is due at the time of the test. We don't require a physician's order for the test or ask for health insurance.
