- Grinnell welcomes Jessica “Zoe” Zaret, MD, FACOG
, to the UnityPoint Health – Grinnell Obstetrics and Gynecology Clinic. Dr. Zaret will be working alongside Elizabeth Tigges, DO, FACOG
, seeing patients at 122 4th Ave., Grinnell, adjacent to Grinnell Regional Medical Center (GRMC).
Dr. Zaret specializes in women’s health with a focus on reproductive endocrinology and infertility care. She is accepting new patients from early teenage years through mature womanhood, providing annual well-woman exams, short-term, long-term and emergency contraception options, management of premenstrual syndrome and menopause. In addition, Dr. Zaret’s expertise extends to abnormal bleeding, pelvic pain, pregnancy planning as well as fertility concerns, including recurrent miscarriages.
Dr. Zaret earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at The Jones Institute for Reproductive Medicine, at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. She is a veteran of the United States Army and cared for patients at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital.
“I have a passion for helping women through all of life’s transitions,” says Dr. Zaret. “I enjoy getting to really know my patients, and I have the privilege to empower my patients with clear information, options and guidance to help them reach their health goals.”
Dr. Zaret enjoys spending time with her husband and three children. Together they enjoy rock climbing, gardening and making each other laugh.
