Diabetes Center Services
- Diagnosis and management of Type 1 diabetes, Type 2 diabetes and gestational diabetes
- Personalized treatment plans tailored to individual health needs
- Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) and insulin pump therapy
- Medical nutrition therapy and diabetes-friendly dietary planning
- Prediabetes assessments and preventive care

Our Team Approach
The Trinity Diabetes Center is led by highly trained, diabetes-certified nurse educators who specialize in patient education, lifestyle coaching and diabetes self-management. They work closely with each individual to create personalized care strategies that support long-term health and improved blood sugar control. Through compassionate guidance and expert knowledge, we empower patients to take an active role in managing their diabetes with confidence.

The Trinity Diabetes Center offers a comprehensive Prediabetes Education Class designed to help individuals understand their risks and take proactive steps to prevent Type 2 diabetes. Led by certified diabetes nurse educators, this program follows the latest clinical guidelines and emphasizes practical lifestyle strategies for long-term health.
This class is designed for individuals who:
- Have been diagnosed with prediabetes
- Have a family history of diabetes
- Are overweight or have high blood pressure/cholesterol
- Want to reduce their risk of developing Type 2 diabetes
Class topics include:
- Understanding prediabetes: causes, risk factors and warning signs
- The role of nutrition, physical activity, and weight management
- Blood sugar monitoring basics
- Stress management and behavior-change strategies
- Setting realistic goals and creating a sustainable action plan

At Trinity Diabetes Center, we believe that managing diabetes is not just a medical journey, but a personal one. That's why we offer a Diabetes Support Group to provide ongoing support, education and encouragement for individuals living with diabetes.
We welcome guest speakers—including registered dietitians, foot care specialists, pharmacists, behavioral health professionals and more—who share expert advice and practical strategies for daily diabetes management.
This group is designed for:
- Individuals living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes
- Caregivers and family members who wish to support a loved one

- Nutrition and meal planning
- Medication management
- Stress and emotional wellness
- Exercise and physical activity
- Preventing complications
- Educational presentations and Q&A with guest experts

Making routine lab testing easier for you!
We are committed to improving access to essential healthcare services within our community. Our Quarterly Community Lab Draw events offer a convenient and reliable option for individuals who need routine bloodwork to monitor and manage diabetes, prediabetes and other chronic health conditions.
Held four times a year, these events are open to all community members—whether you’re a current patient or not.
Please note: Appointments are required. Walk-ins are not accepted to maintain safety and scheduling efficiency.
Public Walking Path
As your partner in health, we have mapped out a walking path inside Trinity Regional Medical Center for individuals to walk in a safe, climate controlled space. We ask all walkers to take a brief orientation to learn the route and get a walking tag before starting. Call (515) 574-6350 to become a hall walker.
