Fort Dodge, IA (June 13, 2013) – UnityPoint Health-Trinity Regional Medical Center physicians, leaders, and clinicians gathered today to celebrate the Center of Distinction Award, which was given to Trinity Wound Healing Center by Healogics, Inc., the nation’s largest provider of advanced wound care services. The Center has achieved outstanding patient outcomes for twelve consecutive months, including patient satisfaction over 92%, a 91% wound healing rate within 30 median days to heal, among other quality outcomes.
Trinity Wound Healing Center is a member of the Healogics Network of over 500 centers, which provides access to benchmarking data and proven experience treating over two million chronic wounds. Last year at Trinity Wound Healing Center, more than 430 patients in the community were provided specialized treatment for chronic and non-healing wounds.
