Meet Aliyah: A Finley Baby

Meet Aliyah: A Finley Baby

by -

My name is Angela Pyzocha from Epworth, IA and I gave birth to our beautiful daughter, Aliyah Joanne Pyzocha, on August 23, 2017. She was 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 21 in. long! Much bigger than her older sister, Adelynn, whom was born last July at only 6 lbs. 4 oz. 20 in. long.

There is so many good things to say about Finley that it is hard to figure out where to start. With that being said, first I want to start off by saying how amazing each and everyone of my nurses were! I can not think of a single thing to complain about at all as they were that amazing!

I cannot thank these ladies enough for all that they do at one of my best and worst moments in my life!

Best because I got to become a mom to a beautiful baby girl, and worst because let's admit it: all natural (no epidural) labor/delivery HURTS and is definitely not pretty! They treated me with the most dignity and respect as well as were so hopeful! Additionally, I cannot thank my doctor, Dr. Amy Ewen, enough also as on a day when she was not on call, she still made the time to be there to deliver my girls. She delivered my first, and she knew I preferred to have her this time around, so when she saw that I was there she freed up her schedule to be there for me! Instead of going back to the office, she brought her computer over and worked at the hospital instead. Not many doctors are there to help you through the contractions and pushing, but she was there the ENTIRE time! She is simply amazing! Lastly, one of my favorite parts for myself was relaxing in the whirlpool tub as well as the AMAZING massage! When we become moms, it is so hard to do something for ourselves and your staff help make that possible. The nurses knew the right words to say to insist on taking advantage of the whirlpool tub and letting them watch our little one, without me feeling like a "bad mom" for leaving my little one's side to do something for myself. Additionally, the massage service you offer was by far my favorite "gift!" It was just what I needed after just giving birth. I had really bad back labor with both girls and the back massage was EXACTLY what I needed!
