Why did you become a physician/provider?
As far back as I can remember, I have enjoyed caring for others, especially children. Being a Nurse Practitioner enables me to care for children every day while making a positive impact on their health.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
I believe in providing quality, personalized care for each patient. To do this, I utilize the most up-to-date, evidence-based recommendations to care for my patients and our community as a whole.
Why did you choose your specialty?
During my career, I have always connected easily with the pediatric population. Watching each child grow, develop, and reach new milestones is exciting! Pediatric patients can also be vulnerable and need someone who can advocate and be a strong voice for them. It is my goal to build a brighter future for as many pediatric patients as I can through my practice.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
I am caring and compassionate, always striving to do the best for those under my care. I am knowledgeable and I take time to listen to my patients and their parents to ensure the plan of care meets their needs and expectations.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
It is easy to wake up and come to work knowing that I am playing an important role in the life of each child I care for. My education and experience has provided me with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide quality, safe care to the pediatric population.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I want my patients and their families to know that I truly care for them and will always take the time to listen to their concerns and ensure they receive personalized care that meets their needs.
