Why did you become a physician/provider?
Seeing a close family member deal with a life changing health condition resulted in my desire to become a family physician to help patients on a personal level to improve their overall quality of life. I have great satisfaction working with patients in all stages of life, children to geriatrics, for well exams to times of illness.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?
To empower patients to take ownership of their health by providing them guidance and evidence based tools to help them manage disease processes and lead an overall healthy life.
What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?
I went into family medicine to provide lifelong care to my patients and to take care of their entire family, however I especially enjoy women's health and pediatrics.
Why did you choose your specialty?
I choose family medicine to take care of the entire patient and the entire family from birth to geriatrics.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?
I strive to provide compassionate, caring, thorough, and evidence based care to each of my patients individually.
Being a health care provider, what drives/motivates you each day?
The ability to help patients see their potential and empower them to improve their overall health. Seeing the difference I can make in my patients lives motivates me to improve my care in all aspects of medicine to help patients. I feel I am a resource as a physician to help patients achieve their own health goals.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?
I want to be an advocate and a resource for patients to improve their overall health through modern, evidence based medicine that fits their individual needs. As a physician I want to work with you to manage your overall health.
