Mobility Services

A comprehensive mobility approach

Home Medical Equipment offers a complete line of durable medical equipment and mobility products. We'll find the perfect fit for you, from a wheel chair, power scooter to the most complex power chair. Repairs are completed quickly and locally.

Our team works closely with St. Luke's Hospital, occupational and physical therapists and your doctor to ensure we find the perfect product for each individual. Patients are evaluated by trained professionals at the St. Luke's Wheelchair Clinic. The physical and occupational therapists at the clinic then make recommendations based on your specific needs and diagnosis.

These evaluations are reviewed by your doctor before the mobility device is issued. Finally, our experienced mobility specialists use the most current mapping technology to ensure your device is both comfortable and safe. We also perform in-home evaluations at no charge.

Why choose us?

Trying to figure out the complexities of Medicare and private insurance can be confusing when choosing a mobility device.

  • We deal directly with Medicare and private insurers for you.

  • We work directly with your insurance provider to verify your insurance provider's level of coverage.

  • We also complete the prior authorization process with Medicare.

  • Home Medical Equipment accepts all Medicare and Medicaid patients.

  • If the cost of a mobility device is a barrier, we will work with you to secure financing and recommend safe but affordable products.

  • We stand by our products long after you leave our store.

Meeting the highest professional standards

We are accredited by the Joint Commission for Rehabilitation Technology. Our mobility staff understand these special requirements and strive to meet and exceed the Joint Commission Standards. We conduct regular evaluations of all our services through written surveys sent to patients. The results of the surveys help us develop and maintain a high-quality program.
