Now more than ever, people are looking for a way to show their appreciation to health care workers. At Grundy County Memorial Hospital, our team members are prepared to care for those in our community who may become ill with COVID-19. However, our rural hospital is not immune from the nationwide shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), especially N95 respirator masks, that are needed to safely test, treat, and care for those who are ill with a contagious respiratory illness such as COVID-19. To help lessen the shortage, the hospital Foundation is helping to finance the purchase of a new STERRAD ® sterilizing system that will sterilize N95s and allow for their use THREE times – rather than just once.
Please consider a gift to the Foundation today to support this purchase. We are In This Together, and with your help, the hospital will have the resources to keep our caregivers safe while caring for those who need us.
