Visitors Guide

At CMH, we offer so much more than exceptional healthcare. We also provide patients and visitors with the comforts of home, the convenience you need and helpful, compassionate service.

Visitors bring comfort to patients and their families and we want you to feel welcome at CMH. Whether you're visiting a loved one who is a patient here, have an appointment yourself, or are meeting with a staff member, we're happy to see you.

Visitors bring encouragement and support to patients. Community Memorial Hospital welcomes family and friends to our hospital, but you are asked to keep these guidelines in mind:

 

General Guidelines

  • Visitors must be dressed appropriately and must wear shirt and shoes
  • Visitors should maintain a quiet environment and avoid unnecessary noise
  • People with colds, sore throats or any contagious disease should not visit patients
  • Visits should be kept short
  • Help us keep patient floors and rooms quiet
  • Postpone your visit if you're not feeling well or have been exposed to a contagious disease.
  • Please step out of the room if we ask for patient privacy during exams or tests.
  • Ask us for help any time you would like assistance
  • Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before and after your visit
  • For some patients visiting, is restricted for health and safety reasons
  • If you need to visit after 9:00 p.m., use Entrance B and ask the nurse for assistance

 

Parking

The closest parking lot is outside Entrance B on the east side of the hospital. Parking is free.

Guest Trays

Guest meals may be ordered and delivered to a patient room for breakfast, lunch and evening mealtimes. Visitors may purchase a full meal or sandwich tray by communicating with a nurse to call in your request. 

Cash or Checks are accepted. One parent or guardian of an inpatient child 14 years or younger will receive a complimentary meal when present.

Vending Machines

Vending machines are available by the emergency room vestibule area.
