Spring into Wellness: Senior Health Fair
Poweshiek County Public Health (PCPH) is proud to host a FREE Spring into Wellness: Senior Health Fair on Friday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grinnell Mutual Conference Center (4215 Highway 146 South, Grinnell, IA) located in the southwest corner of the building. No registration required.
This free event is designed to empower individuals 60 years and older in Poweshiek and surrounding counties to take charge of their health and well-being. Individuals and their families are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be served courtesy of Grinnell Hy-Vee.
“We are excited to host this event to address key concerns for older adults and their families” says Deb Fraker, RN, public health nurse. “From staying active and navigating insurance options to exploring senior living possibilities, this one-stop shop provides valuable resources for informed decision-making about life's next chapter.”

The health fair will feature a variety of informative booths with healthcare professionals, businesses and community organizations ready to answer questions and provide valuable resources on a range of senior health topics. Please see below for a link to each vendor and special event details.
*Businesses, healthcare professionals and community organizations with an asterisk will be doing demonstrations or special presentations at 10:15 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. during the senior health fair.

Parking
Enter using the second driveway at the south end of the building. Park in the lot in front of the conference center entrance or the one just south of the entrance. Participants can park in the south parking lot. Handicap parking is available in front of the conference center entrance
