Our After-Hours Clinic is here to assist you when you need treatment of minor illness or non-life threatening injury outside of regular clinic hours. If you prefer phone call reminders, no action is needed; we will call the phone line listed as your preferred number. If you have questions about your preferred number, please contact your clinic.

As your appointment draws near, you will receive a text message asking you to confirm or decline your appointment by either texting "YES" or "NO."

If you need a prescription refilled, we ask that you call your pharmacy to reorder and they will contact your primary care clinic to confirm the refill. You can also request a refill via MyUnityPoint (formerly Meriter MyChart). If you have questions about prescriptions, we are proud to offer complimentary consults with a pharmacist at our primary care clinics and in the hospital.
Refills must be requested during regular office hours, weekdays 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. and may take up to 48 hours to process.
Lab Work and Tests
Our clinics offer a full range of laboratory testing services on site. If you need to stop in for lab tests between appointments, it is helpful for you to call ahead of time so that we may prepare your lab orders. Unless your physician states otherwise, we will contact you with any lab work results that require follow up.
The UnityPoint Health - Meriter Case Management Program is a clinic-based initiative to assist Meriter primary care patients, their families, as well as Meriter physicians and staff, in the planning, coordination and management of care services for those with complex medical, social and/or financial needs.
