UnityPoint Health is hosting Ladies Night Out, which is your chance to grab a friend, your sister or neighbor for an evening of girl time and 3D mammograms. Choose any one of four dates and locations and we'll give you a swag bag for the road.

• October 12, 4-7:30 p.m. | United Medical Park, Entrance 1
• October 20, 4-7:30 p.m. | Allen Hospital, Entrance 8
• October 26, 4-7:30 p.m. | Prairie Parkway, Main Entrance

Also, walk-in mammograms without an appointment are available 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Monday through Friday at two convenient locations – Allen Hospital and Prairie Parkway. Visit unitypoint.org/mammogram for more details.

A yearly mammogram is recommended for every woman over age 40 and offers the best chance for early detection and prevention of breast cancer. 3D mammography combines multiple images taken at different angles to provide fine details of the breast that are sometimes hidden by traditional mammogram techniques.
