CMH Joins Millions in Celebrating GivingTuesday on November 30
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday kicks off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on Tuesday, November 30, and throughout the year.
People demonstrate generosity in many ways on GivingTuesday. Whether it's helping a neighbor or stranger, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving to causes important to them. Every act of generosity counts. GivingTuesday encourages all to get involved in their communities!
CMH is participating in this year's GivingTuesday event. We're hoping to inspire generosity by creating awareness of the need to upgrade the Stryker power equipment in our surgery department. An upgrade would allow CMH to continue to help orthopedic and podiatry cases like bunion and hammertoe, and manage rotator cuff repairs, total knees/hips and more.
We will be sharing patient and employee videos on our Facebook page. These posts share how you can make a difference in local health care. If you haven't already, please like our Facebook page so you may see and hear firsthand the impact you could make.
As part of GivingTuesday this year, CMH Administrator Dawn Everding has offered a challenge to give $1,000 if CMH can generate 100 donations on November 30. It's a lofty goal, and we will need your help to make an impact for our patients!
