From the Medical Director
"Today, a woman's lifetime risk of developing breast cancer is 1 in 8, but her chances of dying from it have dropped to 1 in 28." - American Cancer Society
That statistic by the American Cancer Society is something that I hold near and dear to my heart. Not just because it speaks to the high percentage of women who are affected by a breast cancer diagnosis, but also because it shows how far we've come on diagnosis and treatment.
I consider myself lucky to be leading such a team of experienced physicians at Trinity Breast Health Center. We understand that early cancer detection is THE most important factor in successful treatment and survival.
The emphasis we've placed on diagnostic imaging has led Trinity to be the only hospital-based diagnostic imaging center in the Quad-Cities to achieve the "Breast Imaging Center of Excellence" status by the American College of Radiation.
I encourage you to visit our Trinity Breast Health Center page. Learn more about our assessments, diagnosis and treatment options, or become involved in the many community events Trinity is involved within the Quad-Cities.
To tie our comprehensive and multi-disciplinary program together, our Navigation program lets us focus on handling the little things so that you can focus on what truly matters - you.
