Dietitian & Nutrition Services
Healthy eating is a key to good health.
In 400 B.C., Hippocrates advised, "Let food be thy medicine," and now, more than ever, science is proving that what you eat contributes to your health or lack of it! Trinity's registered dietitians enjoy helping people of all ages and walks of life to evaluate their lives and determine what each person can do to improve health. Our dietitians can help you manage or prevent:
- High blood pressure
- Heart disease
- Weight problems
- Food allergies
- Malnutrition and nutrition support
- Kidney disease
- Celiac disease and other gastrointestinal disorders
When Trinity's dietitians become a part of your health care team, you'll know you have the highest possible quality care, backed by the resources of a system-wide commitment to improve you health.
Scheduling an Appointment
A physicians' referral is necessary for all nutrition counseling, also known as "Medical Nutrition Therapy." Have your physician's office call (309) 779-5870 to arrange for an appointment. Dietitians are available for individual counseling and group nutrition classes, by appointment only, at Trinity Bettendorf and Trinity Moline. Please check with your insurance carrier for details about coverage of Medical Nutrition Therapy.
