RYC Child & Adolescent Services Fund
A bright future
The Robert Young Center Child & Adolescent Services Fund supports children and adolescent behavioral health programs and services. Thanks to the generosity of kindhearted people like you, Robert Young Center provides children with programs and services that promote healing and give them the skills they need for a bright future.
The Children's Intensive Outpatient Program was created to address the need for increased access to behavioral health services for youth in the Quad City community. The program serves 9-13 year olds suffering from high risk emotional and behavioral health issues. Children are transported by RYC staff to attend a four hour trauma informed care program up to five days per week. Treatment includes group therapy, individual and family sessions, art and music therapy, recreation therapy, social skills training, coping skills, resiliency building, and individualized therapy based on the child's needs. Children learn by doing. Ideal treatment occurs when counselors engage youth with thoughtful and structured activities and play.
Your support of the Child & Adolescent Services fund allows Robert Young Center to develop new programs and strengthen existing services.
Children matter to this world and your support matters to children.
