Every service Trinity's Wellness Department offers its' employees and spouses are completely free of charge.
Wellness Department Services
Wellness Coaches provide Trinity employees and spouses with the following Wellness services/resources:
- Health/weight loss coaching
- Weekly weigh-ins
- Reviewing food journals and general nutrition counseling
- Active living/healthy lifestyle education
- NEW Wellness Aware program and Wellness Aware risk assessment
Weight Aware Program
Wellness Coaches help keep health goals on track and provide support. Coaching components include:
- Weight management counseling
- BMI and body fat percentage calculation
- Blood pressure check
- Waist circumference measurement
- Coupon for free lipid panel and blood glucose level
Wellness Aware Program
Trinity's wellness coaches assist in addressing employee wellness needs to take full control of their health and reach a higher quality of life in order to:
- train for fitness events
- learn dietary and exercise approaches to help lower blood pressure and/or cholesterol.
- lose, maintain or gain weight.
- achieve other wellness related goals.
Upon completion of the Wellness Aware risk assessment, the Trinity Wellness department contacts employees to schedule a free, 30-minute, follow-up evaluation with a wellness coach. A coupon is also be given to receive free blood work to measure total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides and blood glucose. Eight additional, one-on-one wellness coaching sessions are available.
Wellness Coaches help to coordinate and implement Trinity work-site exercise and physical activity initiatives and promote opportunities for employees to engage in work-site wellness throughout the year.
