  • The Emergency Medical Technician program will encompass a curriculum to provide for eligibility to challenge the Illinois or National Registry EMT exam. Classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings form 6pm to 10pm. The goal of the program is to provide the knowledge and proficiency for the basic life support provider. the program adheres to the National Standard Curriculum. It is comprised of 190 hours of didactic learning, "hands on" dispatch center observation, emergency department clinical time, and field ride time with a TEMSS preceptor.

  • Upon completion of the classes the student will be able to sit for Illinois / NREMT Examination.

  • Course Prerequisite

  • High School diploma or GED

  •  Current Immunizations

  • 2 step TB / required

  • Flu Immunization / required

  • Hepatitis B or Wavier

  • MMR or Waver

  • Varicella or Wavier

  • Classes will meet every Tuesday and Thursday  night 6 pm to 10 pm 1/16/2018 through 5/3/2018
