Biography

Why did you become a physician/provider? I loved being a nurse, after gaining knowledge and experience as a nurse I found myself wanting to provide care for my patients at a higher level. I wanted to see their lives change for the better from my quality care as a family nurse practitioner.
As a provider, what is your medical philosophy? As a nurse practitioner, my philosophy of nursing is to provide individualized patient care by acknowledging each unique patient situation, educating patients and their families and providing compassionate, evidence-based high-quality care.
Why did you choose your specialty? I love caring for people of all ages and want to be able to connect and provide excellent care for patients throughout all stages of their lives.
What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients? I am compassionate, respectful, caring, understanding, professional, efficient and dedicated to providng evidenced-based high-quality care.
Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day? I find it fulfilling to meet new people through patient care and to help them during times of need. I also have a supportive network of family and friends who motivate me on a daily basis.
What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice? I will listen to my patients' concerns and develop a plan specific to each situation that will create the best patient outcome.
