About This ProviderPrint

Why did you become a provider?

I became a provider because I want to help others improve their overall health and wellness through a meaningful patient/provider relationship.

As a provider, what is your medical philosophy?

I believe that treating the whole patient is the best way to attain a patient's goals. In getting to know my patients I strive to not only get to know them on a medical level but, I also want to understand what drives and motivates them on a personal level. This, I feel, will help the patient reach their healthcare goals and be able to live their best life.

What type of care/clinical interests are you most passionate about?

I am passionate about preventative medicine, women's and LGBTQ health as well as establishing meaningful relationships with all of my patients.

Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose family medicine for the variety that is involved. My nursing background is in emergency medicine which has a lot of variety. While I enjoy taking care of acute illness, I also enjoy preventative medicine and managing chronic illness.

What qualities best describe the care you provide your patients?

I feel that qualities that best describe my care are; compassionate, collaborative and evidence-based.

Being a healthcare provider, what drives/motivates you each day?

My motivation as a provider is to help my patients attain their best quality of life possible through meaningful relationships and patient education. In my previous experience as an emergency room nurse, I had the opportunity to take care of patient's in the most critical time of the health. In primary care I hope to not only recognize and care for acute illness but, also provide patients with adequate preventative and chronic disease care.

What is the most important thing patients should know about you and your practice?

The most important thing I want patients to know about my practice is that as your provider I will strive to help you attain your best state of health through collaboration, being an advocate and education.
