"Parenting can be exciting, fun and, sometimes, scary. It is comforting for parents to walk this journey with a support system of people who will understand, empathize and guide them. As your pediatrician, I will strive to be an important member of this group."

Medical Interests

Dr. Ram works in all aspects of pediatric care, but has a particular interest in growth issues, short stature and puberty. She also is interested in endocrine issues, such as thyroid disorders, and completed additional training in endocrinology.

Medical Philosophy

Dr. Ram believes her role as a pediatrician is to educate her patients and their parents as well as be the facilitator for them to live a healthy lifestyle. Keeping her patients and their family informed every step of the way builds a relationship of trust and confidence, which allows families to feel comfortable talking to her. Dr. Ram never loses sight of what’s best for her patients and makes sure the child has a voice in their own health care. She loves to watch children mature and parents’ skills improve, finding it to be one of the most rewarding aspects of pediatric care.

Personal Interests

Dr. Ram enjoys spending time with her own children, reading, traveling and working out.
