Vascular Services
At the Vascular Center, our multi-disciplinary team of board-certified physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals are dedicated to providing the highest level of care, an exceptional experience and the best possible outcomes for our patients. Meet our vascular team.
We are the first vascular team in Central Illinois performing Transcarotid Artery Revascularization (TCAR), a new minimally invasive procedure to prevent stroke during carotid stenting procedures. Our surgeons use a device to briefly reverse the direction of blood flow. With blood (and any clots) flowing away from the brain, the patient's risk of stroke during the procedure is lower.
