The Pekin Hospital Foundation solicits applications for the following scholarship opportunities:
The Frances Tollensdorf $1,000 Scholarship Fund to a nursing student enrolled in qualified, professional NURSING PROGRAM based on the Scholarship Committee's recommendations.
The Craig J. Aune $1,000 Scholarship Fund to a student enrolled in a HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONS PROGRAM based on the Scholarship Committee's recommendations.
Applications for these scholarships are available in January and must be submitted by April 11th.
The scholarship committee reviews applications and selects the award recipient(s) based upon course of study; financial need; scholarship achievements, including honors and grades; experience/extracurricular involvement, volunteer and work-related; letters of recommendation; and general qualifications and goals.

Other Opportunities Available
The Pekin Hospital Auxiliary awards financial assistance to students enrolled in a healthcare professions program. Students living in the Pekin area are eligible to apply. Priority, of course, is extended to those who intend to return to the Pekin area to practice their professional skills.
