About Our Survey
UnityPoint Clinic measures all aspects of patient satisfaction. To ensure that we are holding ourselves to the highest standards, we partner with an independent patient satisfaction company, Press Ganey of South Bend, Indiana. For more than 25 years, Press Ganey has been the industry's recognized leader in health care patient satisfaction. Press Ganey works with more than 10,000 health care organizations nationwide, including 50% of all U.S. hospitals, to improve clinical and business outcomes. Press Ganey was founded in 1985 by Dr. Irwin Press, PhD. and Dr. Rod Ganey, PhD.
Who Receives the Survey?
The survey is mailed to selected UnityPoint Clinic patients within a few days of their appointment. Patients answer questions and provide comments based on their experience in a clinic and with a care provider. We use the feedback to drive improvements in our clinics.
Do you post all comments?
We are committed to posting positive and negative feedback. However, we do remove comments that contained protected health information and profanity, and comments that are libelous or slanderous.
We take the time to read each of the surveys that are completed, and we use the feedback to make meaningful changes. When our patients at UnityPoint Clinic – Pediatrics – Methodist North told us they wanted us to help them better understand our wait times, we took action. Now the wait times are posted at the front desk, and we've added activities to keep your child busy while you're with us.
