Dr. Jongerius has been a family physician in the Peoria area for nearly three decades. Upon his graduation from the University Of Missouri School Of Medicine in 1981, he completed a three year family practice residency at York Hospital in Pennsylvania.
In 1984, Dr. Jongerius began his practice of medicine at Carver Health Center. He has also provided family practice services at Princeville Medical Center, University of Illinois Family Practice, and UnityPoint Clinic – Family Medicine at Peartree. Dr. Jongerius also spent some time as a hospital administrator.
Developing a deeper understanding of the complexities of our health system, Dr. Jongerius is passionate about providing patients with the access, efficiencies, and personal service. He has special interests in chronic disease management and dementia care. In his spare time, he volunteers with Big Brother Big Sisters and enjoys gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Dr. Grasch is a graduate of the Eastman School in Rochester, New York. He received his medical degree from the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine at Springfield. Dr. Grasch completed his family medicine residency with the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and UnityPoint Health – Methodist.
Nutrition, exercise, and wellness are passionate areas of interest for Dr. Grasch. Communication and trust are vital to developing successful and inspiring patient relationships. "I look forward to sharing my knowledge with my patients yet learning from them too, along the way," said Dr. Grasch. Outside the office, Dr. Grasch finds inspiration in cooking, singing, running, exercise, yoga, and reading.
