It's about going beyond to provide a full spectrum of health and wellness services. And with Direct Primary Care, we're changing the way health care is paid for. You'll pay a monthly fee to be part of this innovative practice. We don't bill insurance.
What is Direct Primary Care?
UnityPoint Health – Junction Medical is an innovative concept in medicine. It's smaller and more personal, which means physicians will have more time to coordinate care, with opportunities to provide you with support outside of the scheduled appointment time. It also makes access easier for patients. Same-day appointments are available and physicians are accessible by phone or by secure online messaging through our patient portal, My UnityPoint. The result is a practice that is proactively focused on your health.

Joining Junction Medical
You can join UnityPoint Health – Junction Medical by paying a monthly fee. Your employer may help cover the membership fee. Ask your benefits representative for more information.

- Must be immediate family members living in the same household
- No registration, termination or enrollment fees
- A 90 day initial commitment is required
- Members may cancel with 30 days written notice
- A 5% discount is applied for members who pay annually
- A 2% discount is applied for those who pay bi-annually

- Urinalysis
- Rapid strep screening

- Hemoglobin A1C
- Joint injections
- Flu Vaccines
- Video Visits
- Pap smears
- Sports physicals
- IUD/Nexplanon removals
